The Hartman Value Profile (HVP)

The Hartman Value Profile Test allows to assess whether the person who is being hired for a company is trustworthy and shares the value judgments of the organization.
The Robert S. Hartman test, developed in 1967, has been used as a filter for honesty and integrity in organizations that have applied it. The Hartman Test is considered a good method in the selection of personnel for any company.
This is not a "test" to be passed or failed and the results have no bias with respect to sex, age, race, creed, or any other socio-cultural classification.

PROFILE VALUES

There are two parts to the profile. The first one is a list of 18 items pertaining to the world, while the second one consists of 18 phrases related to the self.
The evaluated person is asked to rank the items in the first part from best to worst, and then to rank the phrases in the second part from those he most agrees with to those he least agrees with.
