What is SUDOKU?
A game in which you enter the digits from 1 to 4 or from 1 to 9 into the blank spaces, according to the size of the game. Every row must contain one of each digit; so must every column, as must every 2x2 or 3x3 square. Each Sudoku has a unique solution that can be reached logically without guessing.

Origin of Sudoku
Sudoku first appeared in 1979 in a New York (USA) magazine. This game was invented by Swiss physicist and mathematician Leonhard Paul Euler in the 1970s and designed by architect Howard Gardner. Later, a Japanese company exported the game in the 1980s and from then on, it gained popularity in Japan.
Several changes were made to the game until it became what we now know and it was precisely the Japanese who were in charge of changing the name to "SUDOKU".
By 2005, sudoku was already known worldwide.
