Tetris (2D)

Tetris is a video puzzle game originally designed and programmed by the Russian Alexey Pajitnov in 1985.

A sequence of shapes composed of four square blocks each, fall down the playing field. The object of the game is to manipulate these pieces, by moving each one sideways and rotating it, with the aim of creating a horizontal line of blocks without gaps.

When such a line is created, it disappears, and any block above the deleted line will fall.

The game ends when the stack of pieces reaches the top of the playing field and no new pieces are able to enter.
